This guided tour will take you to see the President’s Residence and nearby Albert Park where Kingsford-Smith landed his small aircraft on his epic flight from America to Australia in 1928, as well as Thurston Botanical gardens. You will have an opportunity to go to the Museum, do some shopping, experience Suva’s bustling municipal market and choose lunch from a variety of restaurants (own expense) that include Chinese, Indian, seafood and local cuisines.

Depart your hotel on an air-conditioned coach and travel south on the Queens Highway through the sugar cane fields and Fiji’s pine forests, cresting a hill 30 minutes later from where you will have a spectacular view of Yanuca Island and the Fijian Resort. The tour takes you on to Sigatoka town; famous for its local handmade pottery is the perfect place for souvenir shopping during your trip to Fiji. Enjoy some duty free shopping as you browse the local shops for your own little piece of Fiji to take home with you. This small town on the southern coast of Viti Levu is situated on the banks of Fiji's second largest river, the Sigatoka River, 70km from the city of Nadi. Experience the produce market and the village shops, as Sigatoka is famous for duty free shopping and for its local pottery. Take the time to explore the local surrounds and take home some Fijian souvenirs and artwork.

Venture into Nadi’s heartland, through the beautiful Sabeto valley to the garden of the Sleeping Giant, housing the largest and most varied orchid collection in Fiji. Then to Viseisei Village, the legendary landing site of the first Fijians, where you will be shown through the village and handicraft displays. The Vuda Lookout affords a 360 degree bird’s eye view of the West’s mountain ranges, Nadi Bay, Nadi International Airport and the beautiful Yasawa Group of Islands. Relax in a Fijian Bure and enjoy a tropical fruit juice and seasonal fruit from an orchard.

The next stop is Lawai Pottery Village where the village women demonstrate the art of pottery making after a traditional kava welcome ceremony. South Sea Island, just 30 minutes from Denarau Marina, is a tiny treasure in the Mamanuca Islands surrounded by crystal clear waters, coral reefs and thousands of colourful tropical fish. Enjoy your day lazing on the beach, snorkelling, and enjoying the myriad of activities on offer. There’s also a salt water swimming pool and non-motorised water sports equipment available free of charge. It only takes a minute to stroll from one side of the island to the other, but small as it may be, you'll have no trouble finding your own spot in paradise. Hammocks sway peacefully under the cool shade of palm trees and there's plenty of sandy areas to relax. Catch some rays of sunshine with a cool drink beside the pool, take your snorkel and explore the magnificent underwater world below, or jump onboard the semi-submersible coral viewer. Introductory and certified diving is also available (additional cost). Although the island is uninhabited, you can still get a taste of Fijian culture with a traditional Meke performance and craft market.

Transfer by catamaran to picturesque Mana Island where you will board the 15 metre sailing vessel Seaspray for a day exploring the crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches and lagoons of the Mamanuca Islands. Sail through the islands, first anchoring off Modriki Island. You can go ashore and explore, sunbathe on the soft sand, or snorkel over the colourful coral reefs. Great snorkelling spots are situated around the island and the crew will take you on a tender to the best spots. After Modriki, head to Yanuya Island where you will visit a traditional Fijian island village. You'll be welcomed ashore with a Kava ceremony (except Sunday) then have the chance to explore the village and meet the locals.
