4 Nights Libaran Island & Kinabatangan Wildlife & Macro Photography (Dep: 19 May 20) ALL Inclusives!

Join Jensen Chua, Associate Instructor for Canon Imaging Academy Singapore, on this group photography journey to the heart of Borneo rainforest in Sandakan., the second largest city in Sabah. Sandakan is the gate-way for eco-adventures as it's the home to some of the world’s most diverse rain forests and Southeast Asia’s last intact forests. Though it lacks the cosmopolitan vibes of Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan excites with its relaxed rustic charms. On this trip, participants can look forward to many opportunities to capture images of indigenous wildlife like the proboscis monkey, orangutans and pygmy elephants just to name a few, including witnessing baby turtles release, on Pulau Libaran Turtle Hatchery. Jensen will work with all the participants to help develop his or her photographic eyes. In addition, participants will also be able to enjoy 1st hand nature experience through the eyes of Alexander Yee, a passionate conservationist and a trained Honorary Wildlife Warden, who have been featured in Discovery Channel Borneo and On the Red Dot television documentaries.
An avid nature lover himself, Jensen has garnered a wealth of experience in macro, nature and travel photography. He has captured a multitude of life's memorable moments and several of his work have been mentioned in National Geographic and Editor's Pick in Smithsonian Photo Contest. Having grown up during the days of films and manual cameras shaped his personal philosophy that photography is about honest imaging and being faithful to real life with minimal digital enhancement.
