Day 1: Singapore - Kathmandu (Dinner)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, be received by local representative at the airport and transfer to hotel.

After freshening up, take a sightseeing tour to Kirtipur. Kirtipur is a small historic town, which is southwest of Kathmandu and situated on top of a hill. Tribhuvan University, Nepal's premier seat of education is located at the foothills of Kirtipur. This historic town has many things to offer like old shrines, temples and old houses.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Chitwan (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast set off to Chitwan by coach and enjoy lunch on arrival. There will be a few side trips in the evening followed by a briefing about the trips to Chitwan given by the Camp Manager.

Day 3: Chitwan (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

The Chitwan National Park, occupying approximately 960 square kilometres, was formally a hunting ground reserved for the royal families, now boasts of one of the richest areas in wildlife and tall grassland habitat. After breakfast, set off on a canoe ride down the Rapti River to enjoy the many species of birds and one can also see crocodiles idling on the riverbank. After the end of the trip will be the ox-cart ride back to the camp by passing the Tharu village, followed by an elephant ride. These well trained elephants will take into the deeper parts of the jungle where grazing one-horned rhinoceros and summer deer abound. If lucky, one may catch a glimpse of the sloth bear, gaur and even the endangered Bengal tigers.

Day 4: Chitwan - Lumbini (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, leave for Bhairawa. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. After lunch, visit to the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The main feature in erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, in the Terai plains of Nepal is one of the greatest pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. More than 400,000 Buddhists and non-Buddhists visit Lumbini every year. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Culture) and holds immense archeological and religious importance. Sacred Garden is the gardens of Lumbini that Prince Siddhartha Gautama, who later became the Buddha, was born in 623 BC. The nativity site is marked by a commemorative pillar erected by Mauryan Emperor Asoka of India during his pilgrimage to the holy site in 249 BC. The inscription on the Asoka Pillar identifies the Sacred Garden, spread over 9 square kilometres, as the spot where the Enlightened One was born. A large number of Buddhist pilgrims from all over the world visit Lumbini to pray at the Maya Devi Temple where excavations have revealed the "marker stone" showing the exact spot where Siddhartha Gautama Buddha was born. The sacred Puskarni Pond where Queen Maya Devi had taken a bath before the birth of Buddha lies to the south of the pillar. It was also in this pond that the infant Buddha was given his first bath.

To the north of the Sacred Garden are monastic zones where different countries have built temples and monasteries depicting different sects of Buddhism. The Myanmar Temple (Lokamani Cula Pagoda) is a shiny gold and white structure that resembles the Shwe-dagon Pagoda of Yangon while the International Gautama Nuns Temple is a replica of the Swayambhu Stupa of Kathmandu. The China Temple, built by the Buddhist Association of China, is a complex of pagodas, prayer rooms and meditation cells. Across the road is the Dae Sung Suk Ga SA Korean Temple. The Japan Peace Stupa, built by Nippon Jon Kyohoji of Japan, is a 41-m tall structure with four different Buddha statues set into the stupa’s dome facing the four cardinal directions. Other beautiful monuments and temples have been built by Vietnam, Thailand, Mongolia, France, Germany and Sri Lanka.

Day 5: Lumbini - Pokhara (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, the second largest and the most city in Nepal. Upon arrival, check in to hotel. In the evening, boating at Fewa Lake for 1 hour and have a chance to see the beautiful Himalayan panorama, especially (Fishtail) Machhapuchare, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri Himal. Walk back or drive back to hotel with lots of shopping in lake side area.

Day 6: Pokhara (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, proceed for a half day tour of Pokhara. This lakeside village provides a stunning view of one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world, made up of the Annapurna Range (8091m, the 11th highest peak in the world). In the afternoon, visit to Bindebasini Temple, Seti George, Davis Fall, followed by the Tibetan Refugee Camp where barter trading is still being practiced.

Day 7: Pokhara - Kathmandu (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu with lunch along the way. Upon reach Kathmandu evening is free on your own. (Optionally, you can choose to take domestic flight at additional cost of S$225 per person. Airfare is subject to availability and change due to currency fluctuation.)

Day 8: Kathmandu - Nagarkot (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, begin city tour of Kathmandu starting off with the 2,000-years old Swoyambhunath Stupa, or sometimes also known as the monkey temple. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, the temple charms with its great dazzling stupa, while at the same time offers a marvelous view of Kathmandu Valley.

Next destination is Patan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, is the oldest and second largest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley. Patan likes to recall its old name Lalitpur which also means "city of beauty". Above all, it remains a proud city of artisans; Patan produces nearly all Nepal's fine metal work.

After city tour, proceed to Nagarkot which is at a height of 2,300 metres above sea level, commanding a classic panorama of the Himalayan ranges. From this lovely scenic spot you can catch the excellent view of the Himalayan range at sunset and even Mount Everest on a clear day.

Day 9: Nagarkot - Kathmandu (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Wake up early morning to catch the sunrise and beautiful view of Himalayan panorama. You may wish to spend a little time seeing the beautiful sights of the village of Nagarkot. After breakfast is a drive to Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Thereafter, return to the hotel. The afternoon is free and easy.
